MELBOURNE - 14 November 2007 - Fraud Management Technologies (FMT), a leading provider of front-end risk, security and compliance solutions, today announced the growth of its partner program to encompass OEM.
The first product available will be FMT Octopus™, which enables e-commerce organisations to add an additional level of defence against Internet threats with a real-time preprocessing filter located in the infrastructure layer.
The partner program's new OEM component will enable global application development firms, data service bureaus, and case management and analytics providers to cost-effectively capitalise on all FMT Octopus advantages.

FMT Octopus enables financial institutions, airlines, telecommunications carriers, insurance companies and other e-commerce organisations to assess fraud, security and compliance risks in real time to decrease losses and increase revenues associated with originations, transactions and account servicing.
As a front-end, plug-in component at the middleware layer, FMT Octopus' innovative preprocessing filter captures massive amounts of customer data inaccessible to back-end fraud management solutions. Unlike application layer solutions, it requires no application programming interfaces (APIs) or changes to existing solutions.
The data obtained is subsequently employed by FMT Octopus' decision engine or a third-party vendor's back-end or passive fraud management solution to more accurately identify risk levels.
